Kosher on the Luxury Ship "Crown Iris"

Meals on board are kosher under the supervision of the Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki, Greece – Rabbi Yitzchak Dayan.
The kashrut applies to the main kitchen and dining rooms (there is no kosher supervision over the bars on the ship).
Kashrut is observed on weekdays, Shabbat, and Jewish holidays – throughout the year.

Food products are purchased in Israel under organized kosher certification:

Shabbat and Holiday Procedures
Meals are cooked before the onset of Shabbat and kept warm using hot plates and warming cabinets (as customary in kosher hotels in Israel).
All ship staff, including the captain, are non-Jewish.
At Friday night and holiday evening meals, challah and wine for Kiddush are provided.

During the holiday meal, a Passover Seder will be held, including a partial reading of the Haggadah by the kashrut supervisor.
